Reports
The main report that you will be using is called the “Event” report, shown in the top dropdown menu.
An event report brings back a record of keypad entry events that occurred at the door(s). To choose this type of report, select “Events” from the Report Type drop-down box. You can choose to run a report on all events during a certain date range for a specific person or door(s).
Explanation of each feature in the Report Screen is as follows:
Start Date – Limit events to those occurring after a specified date. Type the date in mm/dd/yyyy format, or click on the calendar icon to choose a date using the date picker tool.
End Date – Limit events to those occurring before a specified date. Type the date in mm/dd/yyyy format, or click on the calendar icon to choose a date using the date picker tool.
Person – Limit the events to those associated with a specific person. You can filter the person list by typing in all or part of a person's first or last name and clicking on the magnifying glass icon. The drop-down list will then only show people whose names match the criteria provided. To clear the filter, remove all text from the Find box and click on the magnifying glass icon.
Door – Limit the events to those associated with a certain door. You can filter the door list by typing in all or part of the door name and clicking on the magnifying glass icon. The drop-down list will then only show doors whose names match the criteria provided. To clear the filter, remove all text from the Find box and click on the magnifying glass icon.
Running a Report
To run a report on a person or your door(s), please use the fields that are listed to tailor your report. You have to set a Start Date and End Date by clicking on the calendar icon for each. When creating search criteria, consider the workload of the amount of data you are requesting. Setting too broad of a search can cause significant delay or crash your web page, as well as strain the server! This is very important on high traffic and volume systems. Setting the door or person can greatly increase response times and decrease data load.
You can then export that report with the options above the report showing, such as exporting into a CSV, Excel, PDF file. You have a choice to Copy or Print out the report. You are also able to filter columns to search for specific people, codes, or event types from within the requested report. To increase visibility, you can set the dropdown on the right side of the table to show more entries per page, or even set it to show the full report in its entirety on the
